    I got to sit in the front row of the audience, mere feet away from John DeLancie and Kate Mulgrew back when I lived in Colorado and they were reading a play (he wrote I think) at a local con in Denver (StarFest or StarCon, can't recall just now).
    
    My big claim to fame, and the closest I have ever got to him. I swear I could feel his breath. Sigh. I could almost touch him!!
