Anybody else perplexed about what to do with their Trek tapes?

I have a TOS set from back when they came out. But the DVD's are far better for quick access and quality.

Why keep the tapes?

I also have all of the original VHS Tapes purchased from Columbia House. I would also like to sell them but can't. their value is nil and the VHS is practically dead with DVD, BluRay, etc.

I know for my library of NG episodes I taped from TV, I know there is videos galore (movie promos, commercials and the teasers for the future episodes) are all there. I did not get the bonus disc 1 or 2 for the DVD sets. So, I need to hold onto the tapes; I know from experience, that many video tapes are VERY heavy to move.

Besides, WalMart still sells play only VHS or combo units...... Remember the days when you used to decide which level of video tape you wanted to purchase?? Remember audio cassettes??? Geeze, stuck in a time warp....must..cold...fusion..start...the...warp...engines...again....
